Didn't see the game, but happy for the guys. If they had flipped that switch about 3 weeks ago......

Finally, Leron Black has become the player I thought he could be after seeing play in high school at the Bass Pro. Sure wish he could play more without fouling, but that has become better over the years. Hope he returns and is All-B1G first team next year with Frazier, Lucas, and Ayo getting him the ball.

Everything in place for ascendance to the top of the conference....except the players size and skills. Love the defensive emphasis and playing 10 guys. Let's see what happens next season, who returns, and who steps up. Hope BU can recruit a big to help inside, but that is unlikely. Things really looking up if players will come.

Unfortunately, regardless of the improvement, this team will not win the B1G tournament as the advantages of the teams at the top, especially MSU, has miniscule likelihood of being able to be overcome. Nevertheless, the improvement in play of the youngsters is evident and will, hopefully, continue. Loved watching this team play and compete to the max every night. Thank you Illini.

would like to see them pull a 98-99 out of their hat

Finke and Jordan both helped tremendously today, and DaMonte really stepped up with rebounding, Alstork and Lucas with some very good defensive stands and hustle plays and Leron doing his thing again.

Good to see the team getting it all together somewhat, regardless if we have 1-2 or more new ones next year, we will only be getting better.

Look, man. I know chances are low Ana de Armas is gonna randomly walk into my house one night butt naked and thirsty for milk. But I still leave my house back door unlocked and make sure I always got a carton of lactose-free in my fridge. (You can't assume just cuz a woman fine that she don't have problems with dairy).

The point being: you gotta dream. We are Americans. If anyone can afford to have wild and irresponsible dreams it's us. You ain't got to tamper with your fellow fans and their butt naked Ana de Armas milk thirsty hopes.

Go Illini.

OK, I had to look up this Ana chick n FB since I’d never heard of her. You have good taste.

In his retirement thread, I was complimentary, saying that while he is overly dramatic for my tastes, he calls the game well. Did not think that was especially true today. Some ticky tacky stuff that just didn't need to have everyone stop to watch Teddy. Not his best effort, imo.

Could also ask what % of the fouls he called were actual fouls?

Like the early play when Nichols made the basket and when the ball is going thru, he blows the whistle and waves off the basket. Must have hurt his pride when one of his partners had to overrule him.

Is that Illini hoops shirt that AJ is wearing with the infinity sign available to the public? First time I've seen it, and I want it.
