Illinois 75, Wisconsin 60 Postgame

I think we’ll see that more next year when the floor opens up with Ayo and likely Kofi gone. Since his role this year seems to be more 3-point shooter, I’d actually like to see him concentrate more on being in a good shooting position when he receives a pass. I noticed last couple of games he doesn’t always have his feet set ready to shoot when the ball comes to him. Trent does that really well, and if AM could do that more I think his FG% would go up.
Curbelo has to be willing to pass it to him when he is open, much more than he has done in the past.

His post was written in a snotty tone, however he has a point. 18 TO. It's a problem. The team is so good at most other things, it masks the TOs. Against Baylor or Gonzaga, that may be an L.
Yeah, Ayo almost had a quadruple double. Lol. Love him tho.

That could have been an 8-point play for Wisconsin. They scored only 2, and we got the ball back.
* They made the layup - 2 pts
* They shot 1 FT for the foul - 1 pt
* They shot 2 technical foul shots - 2 pts
* They could have shot a 3-pointer with the extra possession after the Technical - 3 pts
9 points. They coulda gotten fouled while hitting the 3. Lol

Grandson is the fifth starter on this team, him being mvp is ridiculous.

One thing I’ve noticed is that Curbelo rarely passes to the right hand corner when he drives right — instead driving in deep. Couple of games ago he had Miller open when his guy started sliding over in reaction to Curbelo’s drive. Wisky’s plan seemed to be stay with your man and make Curbelo finish his drives. If other teams do the same, that pass to the wing might become tougher if he can’t start finishing on his drives more consistently.

Trust me the big ten will not award Michigan the title if they don’t at least play 12 games. No way that can be justified at the national level.
Not like they are some runaway favorite like osu was in football
15 should be number of games played and a game against 2nd place team even if not us to decide if it's a 1 game difference!!

I really hope we play, but the league office does not seem to have been especially proactive thus far in scheduling make-up games. I imagine Michigan hopes we play as well.
No they don’t.

Watched the game again. Early in the game after Kofi dunked, Mikah Potter told Kofi something. I believed he told Kofi that he was outmatched and outsized by him, Kofi grinned and nodded. I believed Potter grew tired of guarding Kofi and was a little too enthusiatic to switch or run out at a guard. Left Kofi alone way too many times.

We match up well with Wisco. Their bigs have no interest in guarding kofi.

I try to watch the post game segments after each game and just want to say that there are a lot of good coaches in the B1G, but I believe BU does the best job of answering media questions and handling difficult questions than any other B1G coach....Painter does really well as does Miller and Holtman.....Fran...is in a category all by himself....Izzo and Pitino at times can be ok....others are above average to good.....but just want to say, Brad in my opinion is in a category by himself....very rarely does he slip up and give a bad answer or throw anyone under the bus....good job coach....oh....by the way I'm not Tyler or Mrs. Underwood
