As I look at this team and to make an analogy as a three headed monster: I feel we have a huge monster as #1, 3 pt/outside shots are #2, and anyone (maybe curbelo) driving to the lane dishing passes is #3
Trent does not get enough credit. He was the glue tonight. Stayed calm when things were tight. Then takes over with a drive to the basket and two 3's for an 8-0 run. Defense, handles the ball with 1 TO. plays the entire game, and produces an 8 point run.
I would give just about anything for a clip of Belo’s broken ankle
I am sure BU has his reasons, but I admit I was thinking we needed a little RJ with about 5 minutes left in the first half.

I guess (they considered) it to be too long, so the 2019-2021 ( three year endings). Makes sense

dj bald head ref.......dude (no pun intended ) is absolutely one of the three worst refs ever , with Bo B. and Larry S, the other two refs.......Ancients help us if we get all three for a game.......................
dj bald head ref was the ref who called the foul on Feliz @ Maryland with 2 seconds to go as Dre and Cowans were on the court battling for a loose ball....
Cowans made a FT to win the game.....absolutely a non call and he blew the whistle.......Thats why I always ask who the refs are before each game.........

Kofi dunked on and player hung on the rim over him and pretty clearly steered his junk to Kofi’s face. No tech for it and it was pretty brazen.
Exactly. Plus you have a senior laden team that should have been able to steady the boat. By the time Maryland had whittled down the lead, Kofi had sat long enough that he could have easily picked up a third foul before he got into the flow. A Kofi unfettered by foul trouble in second half was the goal, and we saw why tonight.
I am admittedly in Las Vegas several drinks in, but I’m putting this in my Top 5 favorite Loyalty posts of all time

Seeing that clip above it was very brazen. Even as an Illini fan, I don’t see how that wasn’t a technical foul. Kofi absolutely destroyed the entire Maryland roster after that.
I actually might put “And that’s why you don’t tea bag the big man” on my tombstone.
