For CH, he got 18 minutes last night and is still averaging over 20 mpg, which is still pretty significant considering how effective Grandi has been.
And he’s really brought great energy the past 2 games. I think it was a situation where early in the year with all of the injuries and the Kofi suspension he was forced into a bigger role, and he’s had to adjust and re-find his role as everyone has gotten healthy. And I think he’s pretty much there, an energy/rebounding guy who can cause problems on defense with his length and can knock in the occasional 3. Still turning the ball over too much but will take 6 and 8 from him every night. Really curious to see if he matches up with Davis or Ivey.

It’s gotta be difficult to plan for Illini.
A lot of focus on defense, how to stop Kofi, shooters.
Less focus on how their own offense will attack a good defensive unit.

CoHawk and Omar seemed to be pretty tight in one of the preseason "get to know the Illini" videos. Thought those 2 looked pretty good playing together 1st half last night when Omar go some quality early minutes.

Seems like Omar and Hawk are subbed together frequently. Assumed the pair makes up for the rebounding and defense of Kofi.

Man, look at how bad BU's body language is in this photo: standing alone, leaning back, disengaged. That is not the facial expression of someone having fun. He's probably thinking about the team he's going to leave us for.
I guess we'll need to find his replacement in 2019.

He did indeed. The shot was initiated from his upper chest area. One of the weirdest shots ever.
