Whew thank god Illinois won! If I had to see that goofy Minnesota player with the broken club do any more of his stupid dances after a Gopher 3, I was gonna be even sicker than I already am!

Tonight for the first time I realized Richard Pitino is only 33. He took the job when he was 30. Not sure why that never dawned on me before.

At any rate, he's cratered that program. Glad we could pile on.

A little panic there near the end of regulation but gained composure and gutted this one out. I keep thinking that they are turning the corner but can't depend on it any more. Good win that they really needed right when they needed it.

Not sure it technically affects my alcohol intake for the night, but it sure is nice to drink to a win. Not a great game offensively, but we had toughness and energy... And Malcolm Hill.
