Win is a win. Not very impressed team wise last two games but another superb game from Wagler. 38 minutes and 1 turnover is crazy good. I don’t think people realize how effective that is and how hard it is to accomplish

On AS, the scout is clearly out on him. Teams are packing the paint when he drives. Presumably they are coaching him to pass out rather than try and score over 3 guys?
Andrej is one dimensional on offense right now. Great at driving and slashing to the basket but he doesn't have that great of a jump shot yet. Correct me if I am wrong but he's shooting like in the 20s from beyond the arch in conference play. I still think his ceiling can be high just need to improve on those areas.

He has a nice mid range jumper he should mix in.

End of the day starts 12 a.m. tonight. Tougher tomorrow and beyond. Cue Twilight Zone music.

Sleepers said after the NW game that AS was 12% from 3 in conference play. And career in conference 3pt shooting was somewhere in the 20s.

I like his game. I hope he comes back next year to play alongside Lee and Davis. Keaton and Kylan will be in nba!

Then why was that called against NW? He didn’t hold on that one either. I’m just saying the way refs have been calling them I thought for sure it would have been called today. This one was for longer and looked worse.

No issues with people asking for more effort, but to act like its only Illinois or that 18-22 kids won't have any lull whatsoever in effort is what floors me.

UConn nearly lost to a Georgetown team just now that is considerably worse than Minnesota, because they were outrebounded and outhustled.

That is just one example. You can find many more on any given day across CBB.

Sometimes we will struggle. That is how it goes in college basketball. Fans think if you don't paste a "bad" team by 30+ then it was a terrible game. The difference this year is the team seems to have enough juice to overcome a poor performance. Last year this would have been a loss. Take the win and use it to motivate. On to the next.
