The Dancing Bear unloads a season’s worth of bench frustration.

Could this entire season have been a hero’s journey for Mr. Dainja? With his most magnificent moments still to come?

Hawkins with some deeply redemptive, winning plays.

Survive and advance.

Some worrisome stretches and decision-making, but winning this game shows *a lot* of character and does some teaching for the Big Dance.

Hasta manana, familia.

Hopefully the butterflies are gone, and we are back to normal after today. I think they felt the pressure of the possibility of the abruptness of the end.

Illini2010-11

Sugar Grove
Wasn't pretty at times, and many missed free throws, but the team performed and hit free throws down the stretch. Dainja had a great game (besides free throw shooting), as did Rodgers, and Coleman had great offensive rebounding and defense down the stretch.

While OSU won't be in the tourney, they are definitely tourney caliber. Big win to get closer to clinching 3 seed. Survive and advance!

2nd Seed struggling with 10th Seed.

What is it with these too-frequent team lapses of focus and energy? It’s a forty-minute game guys, not forty hours or forty days. You made this one tougher than it should have been.

The dark shadow (again) cast upon the court of the Illini not playing sharp tournament ball for a full game. Need to play much better than this to compete with America’s best.

Come on guys, you’re better than this. Really you are. Why do you often play scared? Or to let the other team back in the game?

You play this game with energy and heart. And passion. Forty minutes.

Yes, it was a nice comeback. But why even need a comeback?

Here’s the key to tournament ball: Play smart. Good passing and shooting. Good defense. Not playing scared. Don’t play tight. Loose as a goose. Brimming with energy. Looking like you’re having fun. Exerting your will on your opponent. And for how many minutes, guys?

Do this. Every game. All of you. Always.
It's the Big Ten baby. OSU has gotten hot at the end of the season.

Way to tough one out! Not sure how many more of those I can take. Feel good about this no matter what happens rest of the weekend.

I'm loving the increase in dain dainja tic these past couple weeks. He just adds another dimension. He seems to be making a couple more smart plays defensively and just playing within himself.

That Ohio state was projected to be a top 5 big 10 team for a reason. They're not short of talent. They're different under Diebler for sure. Just a little too pesky and it cost them.

I'm leading the Draftkings 100 by 7 pts. And only got 6pts from Harmon and QG. Wow, DainjaZone! So happy for our big guy!
