Just watched that video above.
Great stuff for a team and fan base that has been pretty well starved.
Just a lot of fun and great to see everyone smiling.

btw, do not think that Jones' shot is flat at all. Thing of beauty.

I'm not sure how you can watch those locker room clips after our W's and think this. In a season like this he has a very solid grip on this team, despite all obstacles.
The thrashing of Minny shows that his X's and O's absolutely work.
These kids are 110% all in, and clearly there is lots of love in that locker room.

That's coaching.
Needs to show consistency and ability to counter other coaches adaptations. Case in point will be if Minny makes adaptations and we have no counter. Don't like seeing us have bad second halves as other team makes changes and we have no answer. Not saying BU is not a good coach just saying he has not proven it to me. Probably not a high standard.

Things will get better as the kids execute with consistency. "bad second halves" are a case in point. BU has explained "bad second halves" N number of times.

Watching that reply reminded me that Ayo had his best game yet at getting to the rim (and finishing). Feliz also. I remember watching and being a bit surprised how many of the drives to the basket were successful.

That video was awesome........GO ILLINI !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Is it crazy to think that if and when TJ is moved into the starting line-up that he will average 10+ppg for the remainder of this season?! šŸ˜²
Yes. This is the B10 and he will not sneak up on anyone if he repeats that shooting performance. Now if Trent and Ayo and AJ start hitting consistently maybe he can continue to get great looks and then it becomes much more likely. Most of the season we have had very limited offensive weapons and other teams know who to guard. Minnesota and Maryland being the exceptions.

I think that's a perfectly reasonable position. I'm not down on him at all, but nothing in the past two seasons has yet proven he can coach in this league. To me that means consistently get the right players for his system and not take 3/4 of the season for them to click. Of course you can only mention things like this after a loss, not a win like Maryland. It's an unwritten IL rule. ;)

Beat Minny again and I won't mention it again. Did like some things vs Maryland. Zone defense, Trents face guard on Cowens, using Adonis rather than Samba in matchup.
