Gophers are in a bad place.
And we did exactly what we were supposed to do. Wore on them with superior talent and athleticism. Absorbed a few punches on the road - then hit back 3x as hard.
Grown man s—.
Matthew Mayer continuing to let it be known that he will be our most dependable player. A confident display of all kinds of technical skill, inside, outside, and on D.
Happy for the Lieb family, tonight.
You know Brandon is takin all 7 feet of himself straight to Kam’s when the team gets back, cash in on his newfound fame. Get some booty rubbin against him that ain’t Dain Dainja’s.
INIHope we fill the entire thing up!!!! ILL-
Was really impressed how aggressive he was when he came in. Not timid, took his shots, aggressive on D. Struggles if he wasn't in the low post on D, but hey ...All-around a really great game. We dealt with a lot of adversity this game with regards to foul trouble. Have to say I am very impressed with how we handled it and how both Lieb and Rodgers came out and played their butts off. Mayer and Epps had phenomenal games. Mayer was our MVP, but I have to say, if I'm giving out a game ball today, I'm giving it to Rodgers and Lieb. Rodgers for being one of our best players on the court today and Lieb for doing something very difficult which is to play 9 minutes in a close game and doing everything it takes to keep your team still in it. He's not Kofi, He's not Dain, He's not CoHawk, but from someone who still remembers Nick "Chainsaw" Smith, doing what he Lieb did is no joke. He had himself one hell of a game and good for him. Hope the college kids give him a drink or two tonight. He deserves it.

Me too, glad he proved us wrong.Mayer’s turnaround has been unreal. I thought he was a culture cancer 2-3 weeks ago and now he looks like the team leader.
