Weird game--almost no bench points, missing TSJ, but the starting 5 put the hammer down and RJ busts the ugliest slump I've ever seen with a double-double.

The TSJ injury may be a blessing in disguise. It gave RJ an opportunity that he otherwise wouldn't have had, and he took advantage of it. Let's hope he can build off this performance and be a key contributor the rest of the way.
This game has sparked some optimism back in my life about this team. I know it’s Minnesota, and we didn’t have an amazing game, but there was a lot to like about the growth we get out of this game. Let’s get hot and go on a deep run next month!

I'm glad RJ wasn't benched as some called for. We are what we are 27 games into the season. Cannot keep giving up 30+ points to guys or we are going to give someone 15 minutes of fame come March.

Did what we were supposed to do - no self congratulations needed. Beat Minnesota and cleansed the putrid stench of a losing streak off our bodies.
The real work starts now: generate heat one game at a time to finish the season on a blazing streak such that we can set the tournament on orange and blue fire.
Say what you will, but you gotta respect Coach Underwood’s conviction in RJ Melendez - both as a coach of basketball and as a mentor of young men.
Coach simply would not let RJ Melendez succumb to failure.
