seriously!

-we lose @#10 MSU in OT, and in the same week kill the kitties at home by 40, and we drop 3 spots.
-doook loses @#14 UNC by 3, and in the same week beats BC at home by 18, and they do not move.

Someone explain please.
To be fair to both Duke and Illinois, even with their close road losses last week both are ranked in the top 4 in Kenpom. Duke is 3rd and Illinois is 4. Illinois probably should not have dropped but neither should have Duke dropped.

Why do I even pay attention to this garbage anymore

It seems to me that Iowa is a team that is getting screwed. They are 18-5 with their losses (at the time) being at #7 Michigan St., At #4 Iowa St., at home #16 Illinois, Minnesota, and at#5 Purdue and or only 27. Then you have Kentucky with 17-7 and a couple of other SEC teams ranked higher with similar records.

Nebraska ranked above of us? How is that logical?
Duke not moving when we move 3 is absurd.
Houston moves to 3?!

Someone please remind me again these rankings don’t matter.

Do I need to cheer for AZ tonight because if KU wins they’ll also move to a 2 seed?
Rankings don’t reflect how seedlings will ultimately be. Especially the AP poll lol.

They want to move up Kansas so badly. The media seems to love that team for some reason. They treat them like they are a must see TV event every time they play.

Nebraska has only two losses ...we have 4. makes sense.

Keep in mind...AP rankings don't matter (you have been reminded!)

Absolutely no respect! Illini lose to #10, Duke loses to #14, UConn loses to #24-Duke stays same at 4, UConn and Illini drop 3 spots. BULLLLLLLLLLLLLLL-----------------!!!!! You talk about biased!

#8 makes perfect sense! Lose in OT at Top 10 with poor officiating.

Nebraska to #7 after we just beat them as they had a highly contested game against the almighty Rutgers.

These people are sportswriters that vote, thats all they do! Watch, listen, and read about sports. They arent lawyers, doctors, teachers, etc who get to catch a game here and there.

This is why polls matter less and less every day, just like ESPN...as useless as teets on a boar.

These rankings don't matter; however, they used to matter a lot many years ago.

Seeding in the NCAA tournament is what really counts. This loss should not hurt. The poll is just a popularity contest.

I get it and the AP poll doesn't use common sense but I'm just thinking if Nebraska and Illinois had switched schedules this year there is no way they would have two losses. They played absolutely no one in their conference schedule while we played UConn, Bama, TT, Tenn and Mizz.

The more I look at it they have had and will have the most generous conference schedules out of the contenders this season. MSU, Purdue and Wisconsin at home, us and Iowa twice, and at Michigan. I know they haven't played Purdue and Iowa yet. They do have the West coast trip like us but they really have had it pretty convenient so far.

KU , Fla and UK rated too high , IMO...........UK beat TN , ok . but with 7 losses and Fla with 6 losses and KU with 5 losses seems their name is being the reason of their number this week.......some of their losses are not to higher ranked teams.....I didn't do research on that , just going off memory .....lol................

Using that as a reason makes no sense to me. We just beat them and convincingly. Plus we have had a tougher schedule. If it was how many losses that matters Miami OH would be 1 or 2.

It's not Kansas; it's Darryn Peterson. On ESPN, Kansas can't bring the ball down the court without a discussion of Peterson. I don't know where the college basketball world would be without Peterson. Thank god for Peterson.

Did I mention Peterson?

Flip a coin ... that is how it should be done! (maybe that IS how they determine this stuff).
Just keep in mind it does not matter (reminder).
