DGL showing everyone why you don’t put too much stock in high school rankings. You can’t convince me there are anywhere from 107 to 150 better players than him in the class. He’s electric and his athleticism is through the roof. We got a good one.

Sorry if I missed it, anyone know why Sencire didn’t play? I realize Harmon may have passed him on the depth chart but still thought he did Sencire things in his limited minutes vs Kansas. Would have thought this would have been a good opportunity for minutes.
That was a rough road to end exactly as expected.
DGL was a star with 18 efficient points, AND good defense.
Hawkins is a significant concern with a terrible game, a tantrum, and one point.

And Domask was pretty bad too (though I’m not worried about him).

1. Moretti is better than I expected.
2. Simmons was a great player at Lawrenceville back in the day, and seems to be a good coach...but needs to back off the fried chicken.

Anxious to hear the story on CH. He's gotta be a leader this year but didn't look like one tonight. Ugly game early but 1st of hopefully many, many more Ws. If teams let DGL see the ball go through the hoop early, look out!

I was on the DGL train from the jump, and while 1 game against EIU is not indicative of a full season - its a good start. I think he has the best court vision of anyone on the team, and just has that dog in him.
