I try not to post too poorly about players, but I was a Humrichous hater from day 1. When everyone was so excited and declaring him Domask part 2 for some nonsensical reason, I took one look at his highlight clips and said this guy is not athletic enough for the Big Ten. I stand by that assessment.Don’t want to be a Debbie Downer in here but it needs to be said. Hum, Jake Davis, and Carey Booth are contributing a lot less than we hoped for at this point. Rotation beyond 8 guys is really weak. Not sure why Ty thought he wouldn’t be playing much…
Underwood only plays 7-8 players. That wasn't going to change this year because we got a bunch of transfers. If you look at the roster, the 7 are Boswell, KJ, White, Ivisic, Morez, Riley, Humrichous. Rodgers clearly thought he was #8. He also probably knew he lost his starting job and said screw this, because as we've seen Underwood has been obsessed with Humrichous.
With Davis, anyone who thought he was going to go from low major Mercer to the Big Ten was kidding themselves. He was destined to be an end of the bench guy from the beginning. With Booth, I did not like a guy who did nothing but take 3s yet only made 29.7%. For reference, I also never liked Coleman Hawkins. Booth doesn't appear to bring any of the other aspects that Hawkins brought to the game.
