Rewatching the game and have to appreciate Grandison's ability to feed Kofi in the hi/lol. Best on the team and he looks for it as a priority. Very disciplined.

I had no problem with that shot. It’s the winning team that needs to chill at the end. Losing team chucking a deep three is no biggie. Did that affect the over/under?
No Kofi, and Curbelo was off. I do understand the point that no game is easy however.
Someone is going to get hurt. Someone has gotten hurt. With all the appropriate emphasis on protecting players heads I can’t believe the league is letting this happen. Those elbows to the head are not merely common fouls, they should be flagrant 2s. Kofi is very physical but elbows are below the neck. What do the tort lawyers say? Being an official in an organized game should not protect one from negligence that results in injury.

I would think a few coaches around the league might point this out to the Big10. He shouldn't be allowed to do this.

I don't think the Edey elbow is that egregious. "Ball beneath your chin. Elbows out. Squeeze with both hands.", is taught by coaches in high schools all over the country. I can still hear my coach screaming, "SQUEEZE! SQUEEZE!" It's the most secure way to hold a ball while still being in something of a triple threat position.
That said, I do think that it is a dirty play when Edey does it. He knows that defenders have to make a business decision- guard him or catch an elbow to the head.
But I can see how it would be difficult to police as an official because you basically have to judge his intent which is hard to do.
