Great win tonight! Proud of the team and their toughness. On a side note does anyone really know what is wrong with Curbelo? Not in concussion protocol but seems like staff is being pretty secretive with his injury.

This game gives everyone a hint of what this team could be.
If we can get all the way healthy, this is a very deep team with experience growing every game.

We have the pieces; coaching, shooters, Kofi, defense and rebounding effort, we can be really good.

Great win tonight. The team played hard and smart ball and limited turnovers. I think though after the first couple of weeks we have a better appreciation for how special Ayo is. Our transition offense was something that got us quite a few easy baskets each game last year and it is non-existent this year without Ayo. Also we are lacking that go to guy at the end of the shot clock as it is hard for that guy to be a center as good as Kofi is.

So you’re saying we played tonight without Belo, without Hutcherson, Grandison played, just got over the flu and hasn’t left his room for the first time in 5 days, Frazier played, but hasn’t practiced in 9 days and has two injuries, Damonte played, was puking in the trash can at half time, Melendez played, but rolled his ankle during shoot around, and we found a way to win by 10?

I’ll take it.

This is a good team with tons of potential to be great. Just need to stay focus and hungry with the mentality of having unfinished business (and of course stay healthy. I despise injuries to anyone). King Kofi was again amazing tonight and seeing Trent out there was so impressive too.
Also I lol'ed when the Orange Crush was chanting "LSU! LSU! LSU!" haha our fans are great.
Lol 😆 🤣 😂 Also "Fire Nagy!" Loved that! I-L-L and Bear Down!

Really? I thought Payne looked crappy on Defense. I haven’t seen him live up to that reputation at all so far
I disagree, at least for this game. He is a bit small for a center, but perfectly fits in defending PFs (there are many team in NCAA whose only big man on court is a PF). I am looking forward to seeing him guarding Trayce Jackson-Davis

Great execution by the team tonight. Only thing I would have liked to have seen was going under the high ball screens for Wesley. Would have taken away his driving lanes and it didn’t seem like he really wanted to shoot the three.

Is this the moment for this team? The one where they really come together as a group? The one where they truly learn what it means and what it takes to be the best? The one where they really start to take pride in being the toughest SOBs out there?
Man, I hope so.

Excited to see good ball movement and penetration. Lots of good looks from outside and it was really a team effort. Glad Plummer kept shooting despite a rough start and RJ and Goode made some contributions and had good confidence out there.

We only had 12 turnovers, which is acceptable.

Looked like we were getting tired from around the 8min mark. Underwood called a timeout with 8:01 to go and the guys were definitely looking gassed. We fought through the comeback and got the win. That's all that matters.

How do you know this? Are you a neurologist? Maybe he is in Simone Biles protocol. That is my opinion based on listening and watching our coach in last few pressers. I am not a doctor and it is just my opinion, but so is all this post concussion syndrome talk. BU certainly has talked about guys being tough like DMFW not letting a little flu bug stop him from playing for his team. NO ONE from the team has said he is suffering from post concussion syndrome/symptoms, just the people on this board speculating. In fact, in the presser after last game BU said "Belos got to figure it out" Go back and listen to it. He is the only guy on the team with a mystery diagnosis, we know exactly what is wrong with everyone else. They are all playing their asses off sick, hurt, banged up for this team in spite of not being 100%.
Considering what Curbelo does on the court is in no way related to what Biles does and the circumstances are in no way related, I respectfully submit that you have no idea what you are talking about.

Obviously none of us know exactly what is up with Curbelo, but post-concussion syndrome is the simplest answer that checks all of the boxes based on what we can see. Sure, it could be wrong, but it's a lot more likely than him simply not selling out for the team like the others. Nothing in his history suggests that is in his character. Further, if he really is injured, I wouldn't want him doing that anyway.

Stunning comment. I thought he was terrific on D tonight!
Two sides to every coin I guess. I honestly thought his defense was sloppy and a little over committing. He’s lucky he didn’t get called for more fouls, but that’s JMO
