I'll eat the crow for my comment at halftime about MD being a no show in the other thread, he finished strong and you can't argue the stats. Dain bringing the pain down low changed the second half. Great to see the guys advance. Take down the Dukes.

Way to go. What a second half of basket. Boy put two halves together watch out.
I want us to do what we did in the second half where we build such a league and put so much pressure on them to score on the other end that they take lesser percentage shots. I love our versatility to overcome the personnel of whoever we face. At halftime i was just saying survive and advance but I am pleased with a comfortable margin to both send a message to our opponents but for us to gain confidence in what we achieved against our B1G rivals.
p.s. We finally got a draw where we can be the beneficiary of someone else being upset.....I'm not sleeping on the Duke though.

That was an incredible 2nd half. The team fought through it in the 1st half and then kicked it into high gear. Great game.

What's crazy about this year's team is that there are times when it feels like we're sleepwalking through portions of the game and then you look up at the end of the game and they still have 80+ points. Also, can truTV get a fact-checker for their TV crew? The play-by-play guy constantly saying "Illinois has lost 3 straight first round games" and then saying Harmon was checking in for the first in the 2nd half when he had played in the 1st was the only thing driving me crazy in the final 8 minutes.
