This team man. Here’s what’s scary. I don’t think we are even clicking together yet. This is all talent and heart. Wait until these kids start getting used to playing together.
Exactly, we didn't look great against Syracuse and win by 30... Have a horrendous 10+ minute stretch on a neutral site against #2 and win going away in OT.
Our ceiling is a giant party in Houston.

One other thing about Epps. He had a really bad game @Maryland in front of his fam and friends and came back in the very next game on a HUGE stage and stood the F up. That is just so big for a freshman. So glad for him.
Did he have that bad a game? He was in foul trouble. I didn’t really think that he was that bad. Just the officials took him out of the game.

I would think the time missed to the knee injury is still at play. Maybe he just needs more court time to be sharp.
Skyy will be fine. I love that the Illini have other options. When he cuts down on TO's and plays a little better on defense he will be in there at crunch time too. Coach correctly just played the hot hand tonight and the boys took over.

Yep, Brad and the rest of the guys should get some kind of award for this recruiting class.
Epps and Harris alone... And Skyy is gonna be just fine. Dude's carrying a pretty heavy weight in that role with that ranking on a team playing this schedule and learning.
