I'm not expecting Goode to be 100% healthy and conditioned at any point this year, but if we can get ~80% Goode come March...When Goode returns, this team is 10 deep.

I've noticed how active Luke has been in the timeouts and giving info to the players when possible ........high BB IQ............I'm not expecting Goode to be 100% healthy and conditioned at any point this year, but if we can get ~80% Goode come March...
I'd like a red shirt. His value will be up exponentially as a healthy 5th year senior than a limping sophomore.I've noticed how active Luke has been in the timeouts and giving info to the players when possible ........high BB IQ............
Hope he comes back 100 % and doesn't rush it and re-injure himself.....................
On that goaltending call, Hawk was signaling goaltending with his hand as he walked away from the play. I thought he was indicating that he believed it to be an offensive goaltend, yet the ball didn't go in. Had me confused. He has matured heeps since last year. That goaltending call would have ruined him for the rest of the game last year and maybe got a technical. This year, he just moved on and played his game. His maturity is the biggest upgrade from last year. IMHO.
I thought he was signaling for it to be reviewed
Ah, that sounds right.I thought he was signaling for it to be reviewed
yepUm…..no.
Sheesh.
No, I’m in jest responding to a comment that a short FT was likely due to fatigue.
One of Dani’s FTs was about three feet short of the rim.
But feel free to draw whatever comparison or conclusion you’d like.
Disagree. We have a special team and an opportunity this year.. Go for it!I'd like a red shirt. His value will be up exponentially as a healthy 5th year senior than a limping sophomore.
- Texas fan's knowledge on basketball is Terrible.
But, they’re FAMILLYIf you read many Game Threads on this site you might kinda question some of our fan's bball knowledge...
haha not wrong, but I would argue we aren't as obnoxious. I see why most people hate everything U of Texas. If you read many Game Threads on this site you might kinda question some of our fan's bball knowledge...
I've come to believe that replay (in all sports) should be limited to 1 minute with replays only shown at full speed. If you can't see a mistake at full speed then it wasn't clear and obvious. Thank you for coming to my Ted talk.Just getting back home from NYC. Lucked out and got amazing seats three rows back from the scorers table and was surrounded by Texas fans, a few things from the game:
- Texas fans near us were very loud beginning of the second half, it was enjoyable watching our guys absolutely drain every bit of joy out of them late and crush their hopes in OT. If that feeling was a drug, Id be broke.
- Texas fan's knowledge on basketball is Terrible.
- Duke fans sitting next to us couldn't believe when I told them Epps was a freshman. He is going to make an impact on a ton of games in his career here.
- Its fun watching SH out there. Kid is a dog and frustrates people. Really impressive how hard he guards players and doesn't foul. You will never have to doubt if he is going to leave it all out there.
- Can confirm Texas fans weren't loving MM. Loved watching him get that hot on the biggest stage. Great to see him with some confidence. Put Texas fans in their seats a lot (will buy him a beer for this if we ever cross paths). Also really impressed how long he played with four fouls and didn't foul out.
- Really felt for TSJ, you could tell him wanted to contribute in the game, but couldn't get anything going. He never once put his head down, and came out and put Texas away in OT.
- We are going to "Fletch" a lot of teams. Texas had at least two or three guys cramping at the end of the game. We had the fresher legs, and I think we will wear down a lot of teams this season.
- Stayed for the Iowa game, Duke is Meh and Iowa is bad. Almost fell asleep watching their game. I told myself I was going to root for Iowa because it was Duke but my moral compass wouldn't allow me to root for either.
- Replay is getting out of hand, they need to put a clock on the refs to make a decision quicker.
That may interfere with getting it right, but I absolutely see your point.I've come to believe that replay (in all sports) should be limited to 1 minute with replays only shown at full speed. If you can't see a mistake at full speed then it wasn't clear and obvious. Thank you for coming to my Ted talk.

I don't see why he would redshirt if he can get back soon. It's always a rebuild after the season now with the NIL and the transfer Portales changes. Use him while you can!Disagree. We have a special team and an opportunity this year.. Go for it!
a remote review will always be quicker. most are obvious if the ref is watching the game and sees it live from a good angle.I've come to believe that replay (in all sports) should be limited to 1 minute with replays only shown at full speed. This is all about how he responds to rehab and treatment. How quickly he gets to 90ish %- 100%.I don't see why he would redshirt if he can get back soon. It's always a rebuild after the season now with the NIL and the transfer Portales changes. Use him while you can!
2000-2001 played a deep bench. That was a fun team.Bowman, Small, and Smith's minutes were not just in mop up. Carter probably yes. It doesn't change the point of the original post. The 1989 and 2005 team played 8 mostly. This team will end the season playing 10 regularly.
Still unbelievable that Augie only played 9mins. What a joke. Now those refs were getting a cut. When it counted Weber only played Ingram

Agreed. I said it once before. That team could have won the NC.2000-2001 played a deep bench. That was a fun team.
I get physically ill when thinking about how the 1989 & 2005 seasons ended…Still unbelievable that Augie only played 9mins. What a joke. Now those refs were getting a cut.
Since Kenyon has the North Crapolina Treadheels at #24 with a 5-4 record, it’s pretty useless. From 18 to 11 on KenPom
