We’ve played 25% of our season without one starter, yet we’re still 13 in KenPom and 12 in NET with 6 Q1 wins (tied for 5th most in the nation) after losing 97% of our minutes from last year’s E8 team. Brad’s certainly not perfect, but he’s a pretty damn good coach.

I am tired of keyboard nitwits that think they know more than a coach whose career depends on the decisions he makes over the entire course of a season just not a couple of games and who has seen 3ach of these players in practice for 100s of hours.

I'll be the one to say it...

The overture of praise for Brad Underwood finally "making adjustments" has got my goat.

I'm not sayin fire Brad but I'm tired of the fans and media alike treating him like John Wooden 2.0 because he finally made a change to the lineup and started DGL (80% from 2) over Kylan who has been turnover prone, couldnt make a layup, and lives to shoot I'll advised 3s.
Along with Morez over BenHum who has been closer to Carey Booth than Marcus Domask.

THEN we go "Well he finally adjusted and had them attack the basket".

We are LAST in the B1G in 3 point percentage and we shoot the 21st MOST 3s of 360 D1 teams.

We have a 5+ million dollar coach who preaches analytics and it took him this long to stop listening to Nepo-Tyler and his dumbass NBA offense game plan. If you cant hit 35%+ as a team THEN IT'S NOT A BETTER SHOT!

You also lose momentum and rhythm shooting 40+ 3s and are giving the opposing team transition off long rebounds PLUS you dont put them in foul trouble OR give yourself the chance to get to the line.

This is jr high basketball !!!!. I'm not saying anything revolutionary here.

Players get confidence seeing the ball go through the hoop and nothing like taking contact going to the rim to help you get locked in.

Analytics are great...Brad IMO has listened to his son to the point that he has forget the game isnt played on an Excel spreadsheet

I completely agree. I have never said anything about firing Brad, or that this team is done...

For college graduates, the community has a bad tendency of skimming...

This post was very validating.

Noone who uses the phrase keyboard nitwit played basketball at a competitive level.

Secondly, making shots in practice IS NOT the same as doing it in a game. Shaq used to take 100s of free throws each day in practice and could nail 90% of them. In game? He was roughly 50%.

You don't know ball 🤷‍♂️

We’ve all heard it, wait until February to see the full potential of this team. No one knew we’d go a man down for a quarter of the season. Yet here we are, ranked highly in the Net and have the team gelling for a late season run. This, sadly, happens every season. Get through this swoon and surge!! I think the Big Ten Tournament will give us a glimpse of our potential in the NCAA tournament.
