I'll be the one to say it...
The overture of praise for Brad Underwood finally "making adjustments" has got my goat.
I'm not sayin fire Brad but I'm tired of the fans and media alike treating him like John Wooden 2.0 because he finally made a change to the lineup and started DGL (80% from 2) over Kylan who has been turnover prone, couldnt make a layup, and lives to shoot I'll advised 3s.
Along with Morez over BenHum who has been closer to Carey Booth than Marcus Domask.
THEN we go "Well he finally adjusted and had them attack the basket".
We are LAST in the B1G in 3 point percentage and we shoot the 21st MOST 3s of 360 D1 teams.
We have a 5+ million dollar coach who preaches analytics and it took him this long to stop listening to Nepo-Tyler and his dumbass NBA offense game plan. If you cant hit 35%+ as a team THEN IT'S NOT A BETTER SHOT!
You also lose momentum and rhythm shooting 40+ 3s and are giving the opposing team transition off long rebounds PLUS you dont put them in foul trouble OR give yourself the chance to get to the line.
This is jr high basketball !!!!. I'm not saying anything revolutionary here.
Players get confidence seeing the ball go through the hoop and nothing like taking contact going to the rim to help you get locked in.
Analytics are great...Brad IMO has listened to his son to the point that he has forget the game isnt played on an Excel spreadsheet
