That’s a bit of an overreaction or recency bias.

In the last 20 years alone I’ve got him behind:
Deron, Dee, Ayo, Brian Cook, TSJ, Kofi, Frank Williams, Brandon Paul, Marcus Domask

Eddie Johnson, Derek Harper, Bruce Douglas, Nick Anderson, Lowell Hamilton, Andy Kaufman, Kendall Gill….

That’s not even getting to the 30s and 40s
Nick Weatherspoon. all-time leader in Illini career points per game and rebounds.

Incredible performance by Wagler but he was also absolutely gassed with like 7 minutes left.

Brad is going to have to figure out a way to get him a couple breathers or he is going to wear down by March.

Purdue doesn't have the strength or athleticism on the perimeter to really wear him down but I would bet Izzo picks him up 94 feet and is very physical with him.

I very much dislike Purdue... I somehow like Painter- the guy knows basketball and is a treat to listen to.

Zach Edey also happened to be 7'4, a monster of a man and just learning the game. It was pretty obvious that he was going to be a juggernaut the more he played.

What a class act Brad is (minus 2022 OSU :ROFLMAO:). I swear, when it comes to IL sports this year, I feel like I'm in the Twilight Zone. All-time record breakers coming from the Illini and Bears? I've never experienced anything like this...and I'm all for it!
Hence the all-time records...
