When looking at the talent through 11 players on the roster as they completed the trip to Spain, I was intrigued with the complexity of the problem to figure out who and how to play to max the talents of this team. Brad Underwood and staff have done that about as well as anyone could ask. Who would have thought that MD would become a guy who you could count on to score 15 - 30 pts. every game!!!
Who would have thought CoHawk would stop committing 2-3 stupid fouls as well as turnovers every game and become a driving devil and dependable shooter...not just from the arc, which he seldom gets close, but from long range? And at the same time continue excellent defense and rebounding?
And who would have thought that TSJr. could run a layup drills through virtually every team in the country? Or that Ty and Dain, both horrendous FT shooters, would make the huge, dependable contributions against high level competition? Well, BU and his staff worked the problem until those results became pretty darned dependable.

Let's hope the level of focus, competence, effort, and focus continues starting next Thur. and Sat. If it does, the sky is the limit and dreams can come true.
