Don't you dare lose that damn shirt! Now, let's do this!7 and 0 when wearing this shirt I had made. 2 and 0 early in the year and then it sat at the bottom of my laundry til I pulled it out for the big ten tourney!
In the 70 years I have been an Illini fan, there has never been an Illini player that can do what TSJr. does on the hardwood. His size, speed with the ball, ability to change direction at warp speed, his skill at finishing at the hoop, along with FT shooting and his % from the arc are a lethal offensive combination. When adding in his ability to effectively guard, stay with, and deter the opponents best perimeter player almost every game, I challenge anyone to name a player who comes close. There is no former Illini to compare him to, and I can't offhand think of any collegiate player I have seen.Agreed. I do think he has surpassed Spoon and Ayo and all our other greats.
No. 13 for 13 in tourney, 19 for his last 19 going back to BTT.Help me out, do I have it right that Dain is 19 for 19 in this tourney?
I think BYU didn't look ready. I don't know if the early start affected them but they got off to a slow start and then tried to come back. What was impressive was that Illini should've won by 26, and they did! How did this Duquesne team beat BYU, who beat Iowa State by double digits in Utah. I know it doesn't mean anything now, but an interesting tidbit.
I cannot like this enough!
I would kill for the Coleman bobblehead in your avatar.Let's all run a train on the nil store tonight![]()
That was an EXTREMELY difficult night. I am right up there with most loyal fan to the beloved that there is. That might, after that meltdown.....I was on the cusp. I'm not going to lie. That one ate at me, right down to the core. For a good laugh, go skim the Penn State postgame thread. College basketball, baby - there’s nothing like it.
We might not be the only ones with full handsU Conn is good. If we beat ISU we will have our hands full.
It's too bad he's too hard and overbearing on his players. They must hate that
No. 13 of 13. But he was also 4 of 4 in the Wisconsin game. So 17 of his last 17 back to the BTT.Help me out, do I have it right that Dain is 19 for 19 in this tourney?
