I can't confirm myself where it was shot, but if they were giving out their address and numbers in the post-game. Bad!

They aren't leaving indy until the tourney is over. They are going to be in quarentine basically the whole time. This team has bigger things on their mind than celebrating a B1G championship and they aren't going to mess that up for themselves.

Thanks, I have been waiting for a post to say this.
This team has (to date) accomplished a once in a generation feat without ever playing in front of a live Illini crowd. The seniors were also denied the usual in person send off. Ayo and Kofi will leave without hearing the well deserved applause of a live audience.
The Assembly Hall is too small to hold the crowd they deserve.
Pick an off date tor the Coliseum and give them all the send off they deserve.

Once per generation? They've had the #1 seed 4 times in my lifetime, 3 of which are while I was actively a fan of the team (I was 3 for one of them). This program used to be great. Doing this should not be once in a generation for this program.

I have a STRONG feeling that these seniors will all be back, in front of a packed Assembly Hall, to receive the standing ovation they all deserve. My friends and I will be there, standing and clapping for them. Looking forward to it. They deserve it.

I like it when other fanbases complain about how much our players talk. It's absolutely true, but the fact that they're noticing it is evidence that it's having its intended effect.

Oh, and talking is acceptable as long as you can back it up. And this team can. So the talking is here to stay!

I see our players laughing with our opponents regularly.

Warren just cost BU $125,000 by not recognizing us as regular season champion or co-champion. 🤬

Also, I think BU would collect another $475K, not just $250, for a national championship since he would also collect the bonuses for sweet 16, elite 8 and final four appearances along the way.
Add $25K to B1G coach of the year - which he should be. Howard inherited a strong program. BU, eh, not so much.

INDIANAPOLIS — No. 3 Illinois accomplished one major goal. The next one will be even more difficult.
As the Fighting Illini celebrated their first Big Ten Tournament title since 2005 with a 91-88 overtime victory over No. 9 Ohio State on Sunday, they quickly turned the focus to their No. 1 seed in the NCAA Tournament and the opportunity it presents.

“It was crazy, thinking about all the things we’ve accomplished and knowing how I came on my visit with coach (Brad) Underwood and I told him these are the things we can accomplish,” Ayo Dosunmu said after being named the tourney’s most outstanding player. “So to get up there, cut that net down and see that No. 1 seed come up there, it’s just an unreal feeling.”

“It’s time to make history,” Dosunmu said. “It’s time to dig deeper, to focus in a little more, but winning this Big Ten championship is great.

From news services
INDIANAPOLIS — Players on the Illinois basketball team still were cutting down the nets after a thrilling overtime victory over Ohio State in the Big Ten tournament title game when the bracket was revealed for the NCAA Tournament.

Led by All-American candidates Ayo Dosunmu and Kofi Cockburn, the Fighting Illini earned the third No. 1 seed in school history and their first since 2005, when a team led by Deron Williams and Luther Head romped through March before they finally lost to North Carolina in the national championship game in St. Louis.

“Call me old school,” Illinois coach Brad Underwood, “but I think there’s nothing better than hearing your name and see it come across the screen. It’s awesome and to see it up there” — on the Lucas Oil Stadium video boards — "after such a hard-fought game was really special. What a great moment; what a great feeling.”
