- Centennial, CO
Went from #10 to #5 in Torvik with that win.
I really thought he'd transfer at semester. Maybe he still can?Booth didn't enter the game until 2 minutes left in a game we were up almost 30 in the first half. I told my friend he had to have pissed off the coaching staff with attitude for that to happen
The fact that we can win games (decisively) after not showing up the first four minutes continues to amaze me. I'm impressed.
I think Brad should tell the team to play like that every game.
Pretty sure with the Pavia ruling that everyone could technically return.Man I hope we can bring everyone back. Would be so nice to have that continuity!
Some toughts...

- Will continues to worry me...not talent wise, just where he is development wise. They were letting him run point the last handful of minutes to get him going...but he is just not there yet. His body is too frail, he's a good athlete but he's not a burner or crazy leaper. Right now, IMO he needs to find other ways to help them team aside from taking it 1 on 1 everytime. Cut, make a pass (he did have 5 assists), rebound, run the floor hard, get loose balls...he may turn out to be awesome, but he just isn't right now and I want to see progression in other areas. For the love of God come back for a 2nd year...an off-season with Fletch and dedication on the gym will get him where he wants to be. Stay the course. And again...thank God for Tre White.
- Our defense is...miles and miles and miles and miles better then I thought it would ever be. We smothered them.
...
He's got 5 to use. May as well let him use them. You did see he had 4 fouls. The kid will have a rough time playing 20 mins a game because he still doesn’t have fouling under control. If he can figure it out then I agree.
The defense part is what has me convinced this could be a special team. High octane offenses sputter at times but defense travels. The fact that this team seems to be excelling on both sides of the ball is a potential differentiator from last year's squad.Announcers: Illinois has two 30+ point wins in conference and the rest of the conference has 2 combined. Didn’t see that happening against Oregon and PSU.
High octane offense and great D and rebounding!
I'm fairly certain Ty will be leaving. I hope to keep both Boswell and DGL but I expect Brad to go get a big guard in the off-season too. It's pretty apparent that he likes positional size. Both DGL and KB also play well off-ball too. I could see all 3 getting lots of tick. Will KB make the leap though?
LOL .Devils advocate, are we better without KJ? Does he force too many shots?
Every year, I trust in Brad more.Quiet 20 Burger might be tre White's Middle name... Was wrong about him early but he was just finding himself. Very glad to hear crow. Humrichous also making me feel stupid. But let's be honest I was stupid anyway might as well benefit the illini!

1- Great for Ben & I hope this carries over a la Marcus...we're scary when he plays well.
2- God I hope we get a year 2 of Morez (MJ) and Riley, if they're here next year I'd bet money they make all b10 teams.
3- Booth just seems lost. Preseason I'd wondered if he would compete with Ben...now he seems like an obvious transfer.
Or transfer out in the offseason.Booth physically just seems to far away for this level. He needs to redshirt and hit the weights hard.
