Every so often... a Game like this one comes along. Everything seems to work. Everything seems to flow. Everything seems so easy.

The Flow State. It’s a beautiful thing.

Shots find the hole effortlessly. Your five men move together with purpose as if They are one. Your Opponent seems stunned and unable to cope. Their fans become restless and angry. It seems like some other world for a time.

And you just keep flowing along... shots still falling... nothing comes hard or with difficulty. You wonder when it might end but it just keeps going.

Yes, every so often a Game like this comes along. And you remember how this feels so that one day you can do all this again.

A nice reminder of how things can be in Sport. And in a troubled and agitated world.
This read like a pop romance novel. But it was the game that was flowing instead of someone’s hair.

Dan Jockitch has been a failure as a coach wherever he's been. No one who knows ball should listen to his show or take him seriously. If he wasn't known for doing the rest of the Indiana team's laundry in the 80s, we'd never even have heard of him.
Agreed. Honestly I'm more upset Underwood went on his show. Don't validate that tool.

Man, I just can't get enough of the melting down of Hoosier Nation right now.
The Indiana fans that are thumping their chests, pointing to their banners as their birthright to continuing glory sound much like how I imagine fans of CCNY, San Francisco and Texas Western sounded in the 1980s, forty or so years removed from their heydays.

You and I have two completely different interpretations of that comment. He was clearly telling the fans who are booing not to come back when they turn things around. Here's the quote, word for word:

"To all those fans that were booing and, y'know, are so negative on social media, um, just don't switch sides when we get this thing turned around. Y'know, we all got the confidence in our teammates, got the confidence in our coaches, so, uh, just stay on that side when we start being successful again."

Not sure how you can interpret that as anything but a giant F-you to the booing fans.

And unless Goode gave a second interview and worded things differently, Jeff Rabjohns is just restructuring the quote to how he wishes it would've been said. Luke never said "Stay with us."

Indiana’s Luke Goode: We got embarrassed. We know that. We have to represent this jersey better … To all the fans who were booing, being negative on social media, don’t switch sides. Stay with us. #iubb

Man, even Indiana’s propaganda machine (iuhoosiers.com) is whitewashing what Luke said. Here’s how they list his quote:

“But to all those fans that were booing and are so negative on social media, just don't switch sides. We will get this thing turned around. We all got the confidence in our teammates, got the confidence in our coaches, so stay on this side when we start being successful again.”

Wow! That is just a gross misinterpretation. I encourage everyone to listen to the postgame interview. This discussion starts at the 6 minute mark.

Wow! Just… wow!

Just noticed on replay that Tomi came up limping/reached for this left leg/knee after Goode Box out/Foul out. IMO...He has choice words for Goode wondering if he just hurt his left leg/knee.
That is what it looked like to me. I don't blame Tomi. The game was over. Calm down Luke. No need to injure someone. Later it looked like Tomi was ok. Hopefully not serious.

Same as UCLA

I agree with everything else, but this was more than a just a hard box out. He took a running start with no attmept to get the rebound. JMO.

Y'all, it was just a hard box out. Nothing dirty about it. Complete effort play. Heck, he would've been (and was) cheered for the same effort while he was here and he was the only one on Indiana playing that way -- that play should be a compliment to what Brad instills in his players, rather than an indictment on Luke. He was playing his butt off when the game was out of hand, while other Indiana players couldn't even be driven to play hard when the game was close.

Bigger picture: can we learn to not immediately turn on players that left this program, especially ones that were important contributors for several years? Luke invested his heart and soul while here and then wanted to go home. All of that is laudable in my book. If you're trashing him because he's suddenly wearing a different jersey, I think it says a whole lot more about you than it does him.
BS. It was dirty and I'm sure will be dealt with in some ways off court that few will ever know about.
