This read like a pop romance novel. But it was the game that was flowing instead of someone’s hair.

The Indiana fans that are thumping their chests, pointing to their banners as their birthright to continuing glory sound much like how I imagine fans of CCNY, San Francisco and Texas Western sounded in the 1980s, forty or so years removed from their heydays.

Not sure how you can interpret that as anything but a giant F-you to the booing fans.

And unless Goode gave a second interview and worded things differently, Jeff Rabjohns is just restructuring the quote to how he wishes it would've been said. Luke never said "Stay with us."

That is what it looked like to me. I don't blame Tomi. The game was over. Calm down Luke. No need to injure someone. Later it looked like Tomi was ok. Hopefully not serious.

I agree with everything else, but this was more than a just a hard box out. He took a running start with no attmept to get the rebound. JMO.

Heck, he would've been (and was) cheered for the same effort while he was here and he was the only one on Indiana playing that way -- that play should be a compliment to what Brad instills in his players, rather than an indictment on Luke. He was playing his butt off when the game was out of hand, while other Indiana players couldn't even be driven to play hard when the game was close.

Bigger picture: can we learn to not immediately turn on players that left this program, especially ones that were important contributors for several years? Luke invested his heart and soul while here and then wanted to go home. All of that is laudable in my book. If you're trashing him because he's suddenly wearing a different jersey, I think it says a whole lot more about you than it does him.

BS. It was dirty and I'm sure will be dealt with in some ways off court that few will ever know about.
