It reminded me of when Ayo was out and we steam-rolled Michigan at home. Something is clicking well for this team right now

I too was confused why Dan didn’t play much in the second half- obviously CoHawk was balling, but with his lingering knee issue - get him out of there and let Dain get the playing time- it didn’t make sense
I think he may have been too busy running Illinois Loyalty.

When the boys are administering a savage 30-beating, and in its aftermath as the threads are hopping, Dan tends to favor aquatic sports over hardwood pursuits:

Went back to watch Dain’s minutes in the first half to see if there’s anything that would draw Brad’s ire. Dain does a lot of things well, but, tonight at least, he wasn’t putting a lot of effort into rebounding. Goode is getting minutes right now because of effort on rebounding and D, not because of offense. Offense isn’t an issue right now, and Brad’s been stressing rebounding all season.

Does that mean Dain doesn’t deserve more minutes? Tough call. But Brad’s clearly sending a message.
Dain led the team in rebounds per minute played tonight.

What I really loved about this game were the easy points we were finally getting. We didn’t even shoot many threes in the first 10 minutes of the game because we were getting such good looks.

And then of course loved to see how well our offense was flowing throughout the game. This team looks so together. Such a difference from last year.
