With my whiskey in hand, still thinking on this game. The good…seeing Goode be aggressive looking for his shot and rebounding, seeing Quincy and Domask hit shots in the 2nd half, Ty being Ty, and the defensive intensity step up. The great obviously was Shannon!

My only concern is that we are not a deep team. Three tough games in a row with our top guys logging a lot of minutes followed by our tournament games beginning 4 days later. I'm hoping that we aren't going to see issues with fatigue.
They are clearly deep enough for that criteria.

Ayo would struggle with the longer Shannon defending him, which would be the lynchpin of the 2024 gameplan.

But Kofi would get anything he wanted every time down the floor, and any time we got Trent switched onto the likes of Domask or Goode he would roast them like Christmas dinner.

2021 would make 2024 work for their points. It would not be vice versa.
Would you dare have 2021 Coleman guard 2024 Coleman?

Maybe it’s because I’m old.
Maybe it’s because I simply enjoy fixating on the game.
Maybe it’s because I don’t feel the need to express my enthusiasm or frustration online.
What I know to be true is that once, just once, I thought I would follow the game thread while watching.
That ended after about 3 minutes.
I honestly don’t understand the whole game thread thing. The negativity is simply off the charts.
The comments at times are ridiculous.
I just don’t get it….
Venting. It’s just venting.

And was a bust in the pros!

I saw us beat the Austin Carr-led Notre Dame by One at the old Chicago stadium as part of a triple header. Alcindor was there too
I was at Chicago Stadium for those triple headers in '69 thru '72. Rick Howat and Nick Weatherspoon played in that game I believe. 😊
