If we did play Iowa a second time I think it would be a 'nonconference' game.

If you want to be challenged I would take it. If you are trying to "right a ship that is off course"...build cohesion and confidence, maybe not.

I want to challenge them and make them want to compete. If you can't compete against the best, you'll never be the best

I’m guessing it’s a mistake that Bart Torvik has us playing Tarleton St. on Saturday? I haven’t seen that announced anywhere but seems weirdly specific and possible as a replacement game. Odd...

Illinois NET ranking right now is seeding them as a 2/3 seed. The polls as a 5/6 seed.

My fear is that playing a team like Tarleton St is going to hurt the NET ranking even with a big win, and they’ll lose an edge in seeding.

Hypothetically, let’s say playing Tarleton St drops the NET enough to drop Illini by 1 seed in the tournament; let’s say from a 4 seed to a 5 seed. Would you still play the Tarleton St game and get some guys extra minutes?

TSU already has a game that day on their schedule. They are probably happy their 1st week of the year was cancelled. Gonzaga, Baylor, and Kansas in a 7 day period.
