Speaking of Gameday - they just did a piece on Buying or Selling undefeated teams outside the top 6. Included just about everyone (including Wash St. who also played last night) except us. Kind of felt like a slap to be left out at 4-0, unless they plan to have a dedicated piece on the Illini later in the show.

Big Noon Kickoff started off with our win from last night but yeah kind of a slap in the face from Gameday. Herbstreit seems like the only one buying into us from that show.

While I agree in theory, we are 4-0 with two top 25 wins already. We’d have to finish 3-5 losing to all of the remaining ranked teams plus 2 more to get to that … I think it’d be mildly disappointing at this point!
They've already scheduled a white out game for this season, but it's later in the year against Washington, The game after ours that they have against UCLA is their stripe the stadium game.

I really like we get Penn State next, we get to keep our "edge" and underdog mentality vs. having a trap game against a lesser opponent. Then I think our bye before Purdue comes at a great time.
I think it is a 27-24 win for the Illini.

Yea not a chance we bump them off. So far we are 2-0 in night games against ranked teams so can't say I hate it.
Caught a PSU game early in the season and the first thought that came to mind is that their offense looked really good and more dynamic that I remember from years past.
Lol, I'm not sure what you mean by "floor", but to me "doable" connotes (even "very doable") connotes something higher than "the floor." But 8-4 would no doubt make me a happy camper.
looks like their preseason All American safety, KJ Winson, will be out this week. Based on the reporting, he will probably be out for an extended duration of time.
