I’m worried now that Washington lost that they’re going to come for blood next week. I don’t think this game could’ve gone any worse for us…
If we're not prepared to have everyone come for blood against us, we're not the team we hope BB can develop. Hell, we're not even the team we've seen take the field this year.

If the players are afraid of stiff competition, they shouldn't be on the field.

Probably going to get a way more focused Washington team next week after they had 3 turnovers today

On the other hand, having 3 interceptions should have Huskies QB doubting himself. Pressure from Michigan affected him. Illini should dial up a few more blitzes to see if it causes turnovers.
Definitely a great tool for Illinois staff. You get a blueprint of what worked. Before today, you really just have Ohio State loss to go off because noone had really bottled there offense up.

If we just take care of the ball, you already have such a massive advantage IMO. Wash had 3 INTs against Michigan.

Just the amount of TERRIBLE turnovers we've seen the past two days: the LVille fumble when they basically had the game won, the Miami INT returning the favor, the Duke 99 yard fumble/scoop n score, the Tennessee 99 yard pick 6 to end the half, Mississippi State throwing an INT right before lining up for game winning FG.

I was there in the NEZ for that nonsense deflected two point conversion. Nobody actually saw it happen
me too, our DB made a dumb play batting the ball from the end zone back into the field. if only he had whiffed smh

I think our offense is going to come out of the bye on fire. Mentally, I think the guys know they could've put up points on tOSU and just didn't take advantage. They will use the bye to turn this good offense onto a great offense IMO.

Defensively, I have no idea. I'm optimistic, but definitely not holding my breath.

I see this as a Duke game if Washington plays sloppy. Or if Washington is up for the challenge then its a shootout where whoever has the ball last wins. But I don't see them pulling away from us.

Washington is third of three “tossup” games on our schedule, along with Duke and USC. It turns out we are overmatched against Indiana and OSU, and probably better than the rest of the other teams outside these 5. This game will determine if we’re really good or just pretty good.
Not that I would ever complain about a 9-3 regular season!!
