Expect no rain at kickoff, but medium rain starting quickly thereafter, a short period of heavy rain for about 1 hour (NOT the heavy rain you get in Illinois)... rain clouds move off around 3 pm... rain again starting around 5-5:30.... gonna be wet at Husky stadium - and at my house too...:confused::illinois:

Over 50% of the money on Illinois today. Public on the Beloved, Pros on the Huskies.

Let's go public!

Our "can't get off the field on 3rd down" defense was on full display vs. OSU. OSU was 8/15 on 3rd down conversions, incl. several 3rd & 10+ yards. My take is that had we not given OSU short fields with our turnovers/punt mistake, that they would have gone on long, sustained, time consuming scoring drives, giving us less possessions and much less time-of-possession (which was already OSU 33:11 ILL 26:39). This Illinois team would be very good and CFP deserving if we had even a mediocre defense (currently 14th/18 B1G in defensive yards allowed per game).
We do have a mediocre defense. It’s ranked 50th in the country in KFord.

At some point, if we want to stay in the CFP discussion, our defense has to prove it can stop someone. Today would be a great day for that to happen. Cannot let a team like Washington begin to feel comfortable, or it will be a long flight home.

Hopefully our guys are fully healthy and the front 4/5 can get some pressure when needed.

I'd like to see Jacas double his sack total in this game alone. And make it 4 forced fumbles on the year.
