Yep. Although the operative word for at least one of those positions is not looking. Fully expecting the Trinity HS head coach to get the nod for the 10th slot. Would not be at all surprised if Lovie already has the other positions filled/almost filled, as he's known about the vacancies for awhile. I expect pretty quick movement there (~2 weeks).

The Air Raid offense would be interesting to see in Champaign. However, we really don't have the right QB to run the Logan offense and the pass protection from the OL was abysmal.

This has been his downfall for years. When you play a bend but don't break defense, you need to compliment it with an explosive offense, or at the very least a very ball control based offense.

Lovie has said his strategy on Defense is to get turnovers. The way he did long ago as DC in St. Louis. He makes it sound like he doesn't mind a fast offense. You need talent to make that work though. I doubt he'd be interested. But I would love to have Peanut Tillman working with our DB's.

How about Kendal Briles? He knows Texas and Lovie obviously wants to recruit there.

Anyone have an idea on when we will start hearing who the legit candidates are? Mid Jan? I would think we would need to get someone in there ASAP.

Dead period ends Jan 11th, so we should have those positions filled by then. I would assume we'll start to hear more concrete names over the next week or so.

The same Kendal Briles whose dad actively worked with administration and law enforcment to cover up 50+ rapes by 30+ players? For an average of MORE THAN ONE RAPE PER PLAYER.

Or the guy who asked black recruits if they liked white women cause Baylor has a ton and they love football players?

The waiting/posting period is one of the most hamstringing things I have ever heard of. Who thinks this stuff up?!

They are technically public/government jobs so they have certain policies they have to follow.
