Just curious as to why you think this is such a big slight that Illinois didn't offer him? He seems like a big kid from a really small school.

But at the same time, he gets (and accepts) a much better offer to Missouri.

Royce is a good kid and outstanding athlete. He's also one of the best basketball players in southern Illinois. Plays DE and TE, but Mizzou may use him as an OT from what I saw on Twitter.

He's from a small school in Illinois. These are the guys that this program cannot pass on especially if he is offered by an SEC program. If he's good enough for Mizzou, Illinois should be welcoming him with open arms.

That's the sad thing. They never even contacted him. Now, they might have done some checking on him and found that he wouldn't work out so you never know.
