DE Jaylin Bannerman (OH) committed to UK this weekend
UK are cleaning up on 3* Ohio players:mad: We used to go after the Ohio players who weren't getting an O$U offer, now we have to hope UK doesn't recruit them either

Was there any news from this past weekend? Did it at least go well or will we not really hear much from it?

Lot of guys from Chicago Phillips I am hoping we get a nice package deal any thoughts on how likely that is?

I count 17 seniors on with scholarships. With some defections either this spring or before next year's signing day I would guess 17-20.

I would assume closer to 20. Although defections will start to slow down over time because more of Beckman's guys avoid attrition. You'll just see a select few realize they won't get PT here and go somewhere else (or do a senior transfer).

ties will be resolved
I like the idea of continuing the BOOM pipeline and getting Spears, Frank, and Brodner!!

Brodner was a total animal last season (as in the best back in Hilltopper history, and that's saying something). He's going to have an absolute monster season. First team all-state. Just not sure how his skill set translates to high D1. Regardless, it's high time we landed a kid from Glenbard West.

I like that the staff is working to build pipelines with Chicago Phillips and Rockford Auburn. These are two schools that have traditionally had very poor programs, but have recently found great coaches and are now producing good D1 players each year, Auburn in particular.

Yes it is a training center. Dudek, Dre Brown, Pat Nelson, and I'd guess a few others have played there.

Frank, Spears and a few other 2016 class play for them now

Thanks Warrior much obliged

I almost wonder if he ends up being a Kendrick Foster type. Uber productive high school player who's tough, compact, hard to bring down, but may not have that extra gear to be more explosive.

One thing is for sure.. that guy has one hell of a stiff-arm

We'll see if they can close on any of these guys, but this has been the best offseason (as far as campus visitors list) that Illinois has had under TB & Co. Exciting.
