Major Crack-up. Holy Crap we got a major upgrade.

Dana Howard says hello

When Dana said hello it was never particularly pleasant for the other team. Imagine the Cajones to guarantee victory over tOSU at their place and deliver!

It is awesome to be working on the East St. Louis pipeline again, cause those kids are always well coached and tough as nails.

This recruiting activity has me far more excited than the last ⅔ of the season. A very low bar, to be sure. Yet we're clearly moving to much better prospects, guys who will give us a chance to compete on even footing most Saturdays. Think we'll close out the class strong.

Ron Zook always had me excited with the athletes we were involved with and he rarely sealed the deal then had to scramble to fill a class. We HAVE to finish.

Im not old enough to get this one.

One other thing, I remember we were playing a B1G game (Mich St. or Ohio St.) in Memorial and on one play the running back came off tackle and Dana Howard met him at the line, stopped him cold and laid him out on his back. That kind of play happened all the time with Dana Howard.

East St. Louis has been good to us in the past. I'm excited about that pipeline. With Mizzou having their issues, we have some opportunities.

Zook always got athletes. Football players is questionable, athletes for sure

Lotta guys who couldn't stay in school. Zook had a very high washout ratio, which isn't surprising, considering a lot of the kids he pursued were high risk.

Tepper lost his mind when Dana guaranteed victory. But the team backed him up, and that game was the 6th CONSECUTIVE WIN against Ohio State.

So, if it can be done once it can be done again.

Del'shawn Phillips says he is still committed to Arizona but is visiting this weekend:

I wonder if Johnson is coming with him for an official visit even though he just committed? We could have quite a number of recruits/commits on campus this weekend.
Three possibilities:
1. Just wants to meet and tweet a selfie with Lovie
2. Plans to switch to orange and blue but doesn't want to burn bridges with Arizona without visiting Illinois first, just in case
3. Plans to stay with Arizona but interested enough in Illinois to visit with an open mind about switching

Haven't heard of Nickerson visiting recruits. I imagine he has the led on many of recruits on the defense side of the ball.

I believe there is another player from ESL coming. Terez Lagrone I think. I think I heard where his offer was noncommitable at this time.

Is the staff recruiting Estes as a QB?
With Lawson & Cam Thomas already committed, you would have guess they want him playing another position, right? Or is his offer a ploy to try to help get Jeff Thomas?

Wonder if there's a chance all the ESL kids commit together.

I doubt it. Knight might commit as we are clearly his best offer. Thomas has said he will probably wait until closer to signing day before announcing his decision. This isn't even an official visit for any of the East St. Louis kids from what I understand.
