We got a CB for Ayodele Adeoye from Greg Powers! He was on Jeremy's show this morning.

This was known prior to last night though. This has been a concern since before he verballed.

I know but was hoping things had gotten better on that front. He may sign on Friday but I hope this doesn't turn into another Walker situation. He did get an offer from NIU.

I like the pick up of Sydney Brown. Thankfully Safeties can rely heavily on athleticism and he could easilly crack the two deep next year. These are the kind of kids we have to find and hope pan out since we're not winning many recruiting battles against P5 schools.

Do you have any info on him you can share?

Nothing that hasn't already been posted in this thread.

Moved from Canada to Florida this year which would explain why he is off the radar.

Great film and it looks like he had a nice Senior year. Could be this year's Isaiah Gay although Brown's measurables are already where you'd like a College Safety to be so it's not like we need him to gain 25 lbs in order to have an impact in conference play.

In the land of the Nittany Lion
It's always surprising when a kid with that type of an offer list signs to a team who has 5 wins in the last 2 years.

As of this writing, there are nine LOI's signed so far, eight from Florida and another from California. So if our recruiters can convince these guys to leave sunny climes and beaches--come to the wide-open prairie, the land of horizontal snowfall and the romance of hybrid seed corn signs!--then offering the opportunity to be part of the Next Big Thing should be a piece of cake.

How come the Bishop Dunne guys haven't been added to the LOI list? I thought I saw a picture of those 2 signing. Problem with the Fax machine???

Sydney Brown looks like a player. We need a high hit-rate on these out-of-nowhere players, so far the staff has earned the benefit of the doubt.

Lovie was just on BTN and he talked about Avery and Rivers, so that means they have signed because that's the only way you can talk about them.

It struck me as weird that fightingIllini.com hasn't been updated to show them.

RE Penn State in recent years....

In the previous four years before James Franklin came to #PennState, PSU had 17 combined 4 & 5-star signees. In the four years with Franklin, the Nittany Lions have now signed 45 four and five-star recruits.
