Some interesting twitter comments on that thread that make me believe there are other things being considered for his decommitment.
Hes in jail right so I think it's safe to say Minnesota decommitted from him.

Not an insider either, but it appears he was arrested/booked for domestic battery yesterday.
Makes me feel like a vengeful jerk for “liking” the above post. But whatever, it’s called loyalty
I dont want to kick the young man while he is down, but I have seen him play in person and on film and I am not sold that he is a D1 football player. Good luck to him.

I think I saw 2 decommitments from OKL tonight on Twitter, both on defense. Wonder if something is going down?
Stoops the dc was fired/resigned during the season. Maybe related to that? Idk.
Cooper is such a big priority to them, they are offering him TWO scholarships. (They just needed to push a few people out first...)

No matter this young man’s potential on the football field he obviously needs help in life and unfortunately is probably going to get this help through the IL Corrections System if what is reported is true and these were his actions.
What I find despicable is the last part of the article where they reach out to the high school coach for comment. At what point in our society did we lose all sight of the sensitivity of certain situations and stop respecting the privacy of individuals. What possible could the head high school football coach have or want to add to this story???
Your reputation never recovers from horrible acts like that. It sounds like his own Dad was in fear, what a terrible situation.
