respect my decision™
Cumby has shown some good things as a slot receiver in camps. I wouldn't be surprised to see him in this position

+1

U gots to get your athletes on the field. With Corbin & Epstein at tailback, there is limited opportunity at RB.

Illinois will inquire but doesn't sound like football is in Bargy's future at the moment.

Well, I guess we have discovered the full pattern.

Have horrible defensive performance(s), which leads to losing your DC in some way (fired, resigned), which leads to an inspired performance on both sides of the ball, which leads to a high profile recruit de-committing.

Quick, someone turn it into an algebra equation and see if the math works out.

Bargy decommits from Minnesota
I dont want to kick the young man while he is down, but I have seen him play in person and on film and I am not sold that he is a D1 football player. Good luck to him.

Mr Warren is coming to Champign this weekend. Great that we are first post UM stop

He’s a 2020 recruit but man I hope we can bring him in. That top caliber DL size, athletics, and talent seems to be the hardest thing to come by - would be great to get a kid from our backyard
I like to say I was instrumental with the Tweet I sent him that he also retweeted

I think I saw 2 decommitments from OKL tonight on Twitter, both on defense. Wonder if something is going down?

For those wondering about Bargy...

A little more important than anything football related right now. Can’t imagine what his dad had to be thinking

No matter this young man’s potential on the football field he obviously needs help in life and unfortunately is probably going to get this help through the IL Corrections System if what is reported is true and these were his actions.

What I find despicable is the last part of the article where they reach out to the high school coach for comment. At what point in our society did we lose all sight of the sensitivity of certain situations and stop respecting the privacy of individuals. What possible could the head high school football coach have or want to add to this story???
