I thought Tate himself confirmed that he wasn't transferring. Why is his name still being thrown around here as a potential target? Did I miss some obscure tweet or news article that doesn't come up in Google searches?
Will somebody please pinch me? I can't believe the success the staff is happening with all of these 4 star coming to Illinois.
He posted on Instagram that he was on track to graduate this summer.
He posted online that he will be able to graduate by summer 19, which I believe was the holdup previously.

So we just landed high 4 star transfers from Miami, Oklahoma, Georgia, and Alabama. Possibly also Tate. No insider but I feel like we are going after another LB or SS. The middle of the defense needs some more P5 conference types.
Why didn't we do this last year?

I have to say this is about as excited as I have been in 15 years or so for Illinois football. We have some talent for both sides of the ball next year. Hopefully it will translate into a few more wins. I’d be happy with six or seven
