I'm sure the kid is very talented, but I would be pretty shocked if he would get the nod over two well regarded three year starters in Lowe and Palczewkski.
Palcho would be moved to RG, where there is an opening.

It’s not likely he signs. But we have had two 5* on campus this Past few months. That means something. It will keep getting better. Not to say there won’t be downs along the way, but the trend is up

Who is the other?

I have a very hard time believing Palcho would move to RG. If we are going to play that game assuming this incredible talent would come to Champaign, I would bet on the following: He would be given a chance to win the RG in camp, but more than likely would redshirt and have a very very good chance of getting a starting job in 2021. Here's hoping he shocks us all and commits, so we can find out who's right.

Palcho's NFL position would probably be at guard. Broderick's not coming here to redshirt.

It’s unfortunate Georgia can still sell him on playing time. They’ve just lost 4 great lineman to the NFL/transfers

He could play RG for a year, move to LT the next season.

Werner reported on his show today. Said this was Patterson's doing. He had built a relationship with him...seems to be confirmed by him calling out Patterson in the tweet.
This is definitely Patterson. The decision to allocate more resources To Georgia is definitely a gamble. But it’s calculated. The staff didn’t move lightly. They’ve examined reception and openness. Georgia seems open to Lovie. The same can’t be said for Illinois.

I think it's a smart move to recruit out of state while we are still bad, because those players didn't grow up knowing Illinois is bad. Once we start winning, I think building long term in Illinois and border states will be more effective.

To keep dreaming, a Jones commitment/signing would push Illinois' class from being ranked 69th to 52nd. 17-spot jump with one signature (and only having 15 commitments and being 52nd would be respectable). Also would give Illinois one of only five 5-star recruits in the B1G (3 - Ohio State & 1 - Maryland).

Coach Lindsay was at viera high according to Werner. Looks like Cooper Davis’ hs. Anyone know who err else we ware targeting there?
