These rankings don’t make sense. Calvin Smith and Rico Jackson are below Swanson, yet they have multiple big time P5 offers. They easily should be top-1000. I just don’t understand. At the end of the day, these kids sticking it out and developing is key. Everyone keeps talking about getting 4 star recruits, but look how many of them flopped for Lovie and Zook. Yes, some had tremendous success under Zook, but his best season was led by some 2 and 3 star recruits as anchors for the team.

I'm pretty dubious about this one. Lunney could have found something here but the offer list is pretty strong evidence that he's more of a lottery ticket than anything. Overall, it's probably good practice to have doubts about post-commitment ranking changes.

It's probably even better practice to throw the ratings out as soon the class sets foot on campus.

Have you watched his hudl tapes? The kid has something, that IT factor. IMHO, Lunney can definitely work with what Cal has to bring to the table.

Smith and Jackson should be rated a lot higher. If we're being honest, Harkless should be higher than a .8678 He should be pushing the 4* level. Who knows, maybe he will be re-evaluated in the fall.

I have to assume his ranking jump is based on his speed. A 23.01 200 and 50.44 400 are pretty good for a qb. At 6’3 185, with those numbers, in theory, you could try him at WR, secondary or LB if QB doesn’t work out.

I’d assume he’d just leave rather than switch positions, but the measurables show he *potentially* has versatility.

Talking about slow... how fast will he be after he adds the obligatory 30 pounds (to his 5'11" 165 frame?)
Maybe I'm missing something here, but his 100m time would place in 19th in the 2022 Indiana Track and Field Finals and these guys aren't all football players. Most are going to be collegiate runners. Looks pretty quick to me.
