It may be a little while longer but there is more coming

this sounds pretty good:
If so, hopefully these (him and Wilcher) are the nice appetizers before a high-profile entree
I know he's not coming to Illinois, but
Miles McVay will be committing on August 11th. Will he be going?

Most likely won't be good for us

Cincy. Sucks.
I see at least 4 Illinois pieces of mail. Got to say we tried our best here no matter if it goes our way or not.
I see 8.

For the record, my inner Illini football Eeyore wrote this. Will be flippin' ecstatic to be wrong.

Just a very short clip, but I like his arm:
This would be a brutal miss

Really? More like par for the course.
A brutal miss would be losing out to a MAC school. Climbing out of the abyss is gonna take awhile. This staff is good, they might do it.

You mean the years of legacy recruits going to other schools weren't brutal misses?
do their arms feel as tired after throwing 200 times as mine does after throwing 5 ?
No windup at all, gets the ball out fast. I like it.
Don't think that was insinuated at all. Not a brutal miss but would be nice to win this one.
If true. Guess he wasn't ready to play big boy football.

What a crock. They just had a Glen Ellyn WR drafted in the 2nd round. How long has it been since we matched (or bettered) that? Jenkins? ~12 years ago.

They looked solid against Bama last year with a lot on the line. Let's pump the brakes a little.

I'll wait until a decision is made, but I'll say this: Any top-400 recruit is more aspirational than expected for Illinois football. It doesn't mean it's not painful to lose an in-state recruit, from a high school that's friendly with the program, at an area of need.
@Indy Illini Fan i see you liking some of these posts…
