As in no one's transferring to Illinois to be the backup? Because there are plenty of '22 transfer QBs that were backups this year. You can find plenty of cases of P5 guys that had no chance to be the starter. You can find a handful of them in the SEC alone.
I was saying you won’t get two quality QB transfers in the same year.

I have to imagine its possible we are pursuing the waiver for TDV and IF we get a solid transfer like Leary AND the waiver is granted, TDV can then transfer to another school. If that happens, I'm sure there's no ill will with TDV and it makes us look good looking out for our players to maximize his opportunity even if it isn't at Illinois.

gotta think that if TDV gets the waiver, he's 100% staying
another CB for WR Dixon. If we are able to land him and Elzy in '23, along with Miller/Pugh in '22 would give us 4 top 800 WR recruits in 2 years. IMO that's really impressive for a team that wants to control the clock.

Heard they haven't really been able to do enough and with the new NCAA rules preventing the University from helping manage the deals, a new group is being created to help the players? Curious to see how this shakes out.
