Just speaking of recruits that are going to school in Elmhurst. Speaking generally, if you drew a north-south line straight through O'Hare, it functions as a good marker for Illinois football recruiting since Zook was hired: East of O'Hare through downtown = good. West of O'Hare until Fox River = bad. And before people bring up individual cases, these are general statements - each recruit has different factors that influence their recruitment. It's just that being from Elmhurst, Glen Ellyn, Naperville, Arlington Heights, Barrington, etc. often means that Illinois has an uphill recruiting fight against Iowa, Notre Dame, and Northwestern.
The chicken-or-the-egg argument: If Illinois is doing poorly in these areas, is it based on demographic/geographic/SES factors? Yes. Does it also hurt if Illinois is passing on making offers for worthwhile prospects in the area? Yes.

The one that they have isn't that up to date but expect them to go after a decent amount of secondary guys' in the portal/JUCO

Initially, I thought you had Jordan Anderson with the TEs (not a bad idea, IMO). but then I remembered R-FR TE Owen Anderson. Do you think Jordan Anderson will make a position change?

Get a solid transfer LT or RT with starting experience and I would say that's the best Illinois offense going into a season since 2009. My guess is they'll have a hard time finding that tackle without serious NIL, so the reasonable expectation might be a former MAC starter that has impressed and then hope Henderson or Whitenack can be at least average starting B1G tackle after another offseason.
Go for Enrique Cruz from Syracuse. He’s their starting Lt and he played at willowbrook
