In the last year to Texas

His brother played at Texas A&M and got drafted by the Jaguars in the past NFL Draft as well. He is getting big time exposure and already has a number of big time offers. I counted him out once he moved

If Reggie Love see's greener grass playing for a first year head coach who had a season record of 4-8 , then so be it ......As said before , I think this has more to do with Feagin , Laughery , Valentine and others than any boiler up magical potion being ingested.........

Walters was looked upon as a somewhat less than stellar coach previous to his employment at UI...........He had some very good years here , but IMO , BB had a lot to do with that.........And the other coaches that followed Walters to purdont had input also....

I hope RL finds his biblical heaven at purdont......looks like it would have been h*ll riding the bench next year here at UI.......

It really really does...........

BTW , does Ryan Walters have Illini envy ??............seems to me he does...............food for thought...............

Let me guess, Some other school offered more money again. I am really angry over this that we don't have enough people that care enough about the football program and won't donate more money for NIL so we can get good players and get keep them . it happened last year with the Center and apparently it's going to happen again. I haven't seen anything official yet, but if this does happen, it's going to be depressing.

apparently, staff cut ties. not clear why, but, given the degree of need on the DL, it must've been fairly egregious

That's even more strange. Did something happened after he committed? I mean, i'm certain they did their homework before to find out about him.

Sorry for going on that rant, but i want to see this football program make major progress and become a bowl team every year and it's frustrating to know that we just don't have the same money as most schools, Even in the BIG, we are probably last in NIL money, and yet, i see Purdue go out and get good players that were ranked pretty high on the transfer list. Mizzou is another school that can go out and spend big money on really good players, and we have to be careful with the transfers we go after because we won't be in their price range with the top tier players.
