Speaking of locking down state borders. KSU has 5 of the top 10 in state recruits.
What happened here? If it's allowed to be discussed.

but I do know about human nature
when people imply it’s not about the money , 99.9% of the time it’s about the money . I’m pretty sure Miss St is putting more NIL money into his account than we were going to .

Apparently the Jayhawks don't recruit their own state. Not one player committed from Kansas in the top 30.
I think it had more to do with online course work potentially not being accepted. I can't imagine we'd release someone from a NLI because another school offered money to a signed recruit.
Any recruit we had for OV that hasn’t signed yet. How many open scholarship are still open.
I'm guessing 5-7 in a historically bad B1G west didn't help.
I'm all for the development route, but I sure hope whoever BB adds as the LB and WR assistants have some 'cruitin chops.
Illinois backed out after some credits issues. There was also some weird issues during the recruiting process as well.
I'm all for trusting the staff here. How many times have we mentioned the splash recruits for Zook that never played a down, dropped out, got in legal trouble, etc.? Lose somebody now and find a replacement that will actually contribute.

How does a student get admitted, enrolled in classes, start classes, and then something gets flagged about admission/eligibility?
If the answer is “he never actually enrolled in classes”, I’m assuming it’s a (small) NCAA violation to introduce him at the basketball game because he never would have signed.

I don’t want to set a threshold for any recruit but you can give me a bushel of these very late, no profile page recruits who pop up at the end like this. The hit rate seems really high and there are easy justifications of why they were missed as a national recruit.
