Gonna have to get out to see some Carmel games this fall.
Yes he started getting offers in 8th grade. Qb recruiting starts very early now. Last fall 2028 qb Matt Lee who will go to Loyola went on unofficial visits to ND and Wisconsin. Purcell also got offers in 8th grade. He redshirted a year and was held back, he should be a 2026 recruit.

Brother Rice DL, 6' 3" 280:
Another name to remember is Kam McGee 2028 wr for Brother Rice. Easily the best wr in the state. He will be a big time recruit.
So he’s currently an 8th grader?
Yes will be a freshman next year. That’s a name to remember.

how do people really scout Pip Warner of Grade school catholic schools and grade players at age 13 ? size and speed ?
Kids like Trae and Purcell go to national camps and for 7on7 compete up against older kids. Which makes it similar to scouting aau at a young age. You can see the physical traits. Kam McGee will play varsity as a freshman he’s 6’1 180lbs and extremely athletic.
