Chandler, Brooks, and White are all solid gets. I'm also not going to ignore these commits were the visitors who traditionally had lower offers comparative to the full list. Others have said there are one or two others coming soon, so let's hope those recruits are trending higher.

But I wasn't talking rankings. I am talking offers. I put a lot of weight in quality/quantity of offers. It's satisfying to get a kid that Indiana and Wisconsin wanted but there is a world's difference between Isaiah White's offer list than Carl Jenkins or Charles Bass. Davion Chandler is the best get of the group, and he provides a good threshold of quality: getting as many recruits with 10+ P4 offers as you can is a tangible goal. We don't need to fret on the difference between 8 P4 offers to someone with 12, but it's a reasonable marker of a solid P4 player.

Man if White was considered a “lower offer” kid with an offer from the reigning runner-ups and a visit scheduled with them, I’m excited to see who else we could pull in!

man, this has been a refreshing few weeks for FB recruiting after this yrs class.

is this a result of the reported infusion of funds for NIL deals?

I would be really shocked if any of these recent commits are getting NIL money. If they are, it's fairly small potatoes. The NIL money for HS recruits is going to be exclusively for QBs and elite recruits (interpret this one as you wish). Based on the data I reported this winter about the incoming classes, we have seen a significant bump in commitments under Bielema related to their offers from other programs. I would say these are fairly in line or maybe slightly below last year's trend. The hope is you get a handful of guys with 15-22 other P4 offers (recruits that almost every P4 program wants) so you can start to raise your program's ceiling. That's the next step - can you get 7-8 of those guys so half of your class is those type of recruits and the other half is a bucket of developmental, specific needs, under-recruited, etc.
