which means it could easily be one or the other by the time he gets on the team his frosh year.
you let him try the position he really wants to play, and over time he will gravitate to the side of the ball that gives him more playing time.

I think I recall in the past hearing that BB provided some direction or requests to the recruits about the timing of their commitment anouncements to maximize hype/momentum for the program. With multiple kids seemingly already committed (just not publicly yet), is that what's going on or is it more that every kid and their family has their own timeline?

Both …

This coming season is going to be pivotal to our future success in keeping the momentum,if we can string together another successful season on the field then more recruits will realize that this is not a fluke.

100%

up until lately, I would have been happy to field a competitive team, peppered with some really good seasons. pretty much the same WRT recruiting. now, it's recalibration time. the only question is how many times. un-real. a truly heartfelt thanks, Coach B and staff!

ditto... For years I've said, 6-7 wins on the regular, sprinkle in an 8 or 9 win season occasionally... I just wanted to be competent and respected. I feel like I can up my expectations now

I don't want to hear 6-7 wins anymore. We riot if we don't end up in the Ap Top 25.

Remember, we haven't "been here" before. Let's really show our a*s!!

I'm trying to be optimistic as much as anyone else on here but after not maximizing on 2022 success...
To tell myself we can snatch Victor Singleton out of the Reigning Champs backyard?? Seems like a stretch unless they pissed in his Cheerios or kicked his dog..

Singleton would be a home run obviously- while Ohio State is the heavy favorite because they usually get every Ohio kid they want- they are also favorites for the #1 CB in the ‘26 class

If I’m Singleton, do I really want to go to a school to play second fiddle to another CB?
