247 just re-evaluated their 2026 rankings, so everyone take a deep breath before reading this:

(1) Singleton went from a 91 to a 93, but his ranking went from 46 to 56. This is what we've discussed before about how 247 and on3 will rank kids lower to the start the year to make it easier to slot in newly-found recruits higher in the rankings, but it also means everyone once in a while they will re-rank the top 247 and bump up their grades to keep up with the changes.
(2) Almost every Illinois commit was graded lower after the re-rankings


If you need perspective to float this frustration, follow the offers instead of the rankings and you'll feel better.

Based on my quick look it looks like Singleton is the only player to get a grade change on 247's own grades, and his was the move from 91 to 93. A lot of their composite scores went down a bit, but I couldn't find a single commit who was downgraded by 247. Maybe I missed something though.

Any predictions where we land in the 247 composite rankings when the classes are final? I am going to guess around 35

Poor word choice on my part - I meant their composite rankings slid.

I wonder if the first place kid plays football. High school kid running a 9.9 is crazy. I wonder if Cook will come on a visit to Champaign.
